This is a really cool state park. Per the website, it is a virtually untouched coastal estuarine ecosystem, and there are a lot of neat things to see in a short walk. Woodlands, grasslands, wetlands, and being out on sand lake at low tide was pretty neat. It felt like you'd imagine quicksand to feel like.
The dogs had a blast. No one was out on the dry lakebed once we got to the end of the walkable area, so they got to run around in the soft, mushy sand.

PROS
Short walk You get to see lots of things in about 3 miles, but you certainly don't have to walk that far to get a good selection of the wetlands, woodlands, beach etc.
Not busy There was no one there on a Saturday afternoon on a moderately nice day. There are restrooms (vault), and a few parking spots
WATCH OUT
No easy access to Sand Lake It's really not that bad, but you do have to go up/down a slightly steep embankment to get out to the lake bed.
