A nice, small off-leash dog park in the middle of a larger city park.
The dog park is open and covered in chips. It's a well-maintained dog park, with dog water fountain available. Almost always at least a few dogs here to play with, and if not, it's not a huge area, so it's good to throw a ball without having to walk forever to retrieve it.
The main park itself is connected to the Springwater trail, and has lots of winding pathways that take you through the entire park, there are picnic areas, ball fields, a skate park, a Japanese garden and playground. Leashes required of course.
Pro-tip: if you're just going to the dog park, you can park your car in the Gresham Memorial Chapel parking lot, instead of walking through the park.
PROS
Almost always dogs to play with This is why we come to the dog park, to interact with other dogs. There are almost always dogs here when we come.
Chips not gravel or grass so it's not muddy
Quick access to the park from the parking lot listed above
Other things to do besides just go to the dog park - there are some nice paved trails here to walk
WATCH OUT
Busy You won't come here to just throw the ball in solitude with your puppers.
